HighSchool.GG & WSSEA – Washington State Scholastic Esports Association – Are proud to present the 2022 Washington State Scholastic Esports Championships, May 21st in Vancouver, WA.

Compete in Esports & Career Development Events

In addition to competing in Valorant, Rocket League, or Smash, we’re offering 36 Academic Contests (CTE Career Development Events) with scholarships available for winners! You don’t even have to play a game. Compete in broadcasting, cosplay, logo design, video editing, and many more!

Valorant

5v5 team state championship open to any public or private high school.

Smash Bros

1-Player (singles) open to any middle or high school student in the state. 

Cosplay

Cosplay contest is a LIVE EVENT WITH FULL COSPLAY REQUIRED open to any student the State, win prizes and be judged by cosplay professionals!

Video Contests

Enjoy making gaming video content for Youtube or Tiktok? Put your skills to the test!

Rocket League

3v3 team state championship open to any public or private middle school or high school.

Broadcasting

Compete for scholarships and prizes live in casting, video production (VMIX or OBS), and more!

Design Contests

Compete in graphics and logo editing contests! Jersey Design, Logo Design, and many more!

We look forward to seeing you in person for the Washington State Scholastic Esports Championships. One adult chaperone (teacher, coach, or parent/guardian) is required for each school in attendance. Need-based scholarships are available, contact us.

WSSEA’s mission is to provide opportunities for all students to grow socially, emotionally, intellectually, and professionally through Esports.

CTE (Career & Technical Education)
WSSEA is a nonprofit organization, serving as the teachers association that partners with HighSchool.GG as the Washington Student Leadership chapter for Career & Technical Education.
